Albanian Spring Time has already sent people to different countries of Europe as Au-pair, but most of them to the USA to temporary seasonal work. Our mission is to assist the participants with their plans and life objectives so that they can achieve their goals and make their dreams come true.

ABOUT WORK & TRAVEL USA

The Summer Work & Travel program is a 4-month
exchange program for international students who
go to the USA during their university holidays and
work seasonally for American companies .
Participants experience American culture and
improve their English language skills by living and working with Americans and other international students. It is also a great opportunity to gain some work experience in the field the company they will be working for, operates.

PARTICIPANTS QUALIFICATION:

Jobs America Program must meet the following criteria:

Ø Age from 18 to 29 years old
Ø Full time enrollment in university
Ø Very good English level
Ø Be in good health conditions
Ø Be free from any criminal records

AU-PAIR PROGRAM

An Au-pair is an unmarried person between 17 and 25 years old, who lives for a year in a host family in a foreign country with the purpose of improving the language of the state he/she will be living in. Living in a host family will include not only becoming a part of it, sharing the usual family members responsibilities, but also taking care of the children of the family around 30 hours per week , with a minimum of one free day per week. The Au-pair will be paid in exchange of the child-care service he/she will provide. The money he will get will be his/her pocket money, that the au-pair will be free to use the way he/she prefers. The amount of the pocket - money will consist of a minimum of 205 Euro, anyhow the amount depends on the state you are living.
When in the host family, the Au-pair will be welcomed. Besides becoming part of the family, the Au-pair will have his personal life too. He/She will have a personal room and will be responsible for his/her personal activities. It’s very important to understand that the family you will be living with, expects you to be a mature person taking care of their children. They wouldn’t want another children to take care of.
An Au-Pair has a limited study possibility. He/she can attend a limited number of courses which are usually language courses or general education courses in an accredited institution. The host family will be helpful in registering and informing the Au-pair about the study possibilities he/she will have .
Our agency will assist you in all the steps you should go through for becoming an Au-pair. We will provide you with the information and documentation procedures you will need. Through our cooperation with many agencies in different countries , we will find you the most appropriate host family and also help you get to know them for better preparing to live for a year with them.

INTERNSHIPS / TRAINEE PROGRAMS

Internships are designed for university students.
Besides being enrolled in a university, for participating
in the offered internships the applicants should have
good knowledge of English and computer skills.
Through a internship experience you will have the
possibility to become part of the real job market in different fields like business, marketing, management, media communication, etc. Operating in good foreign companies in the USA or elsewhere and receiving a certificate when you will conclude the work internship, will be a very helpful step to better face the competitive job market when you finish your studies.
Our agency will help you find the right internship for you and will offer all the necessary support in order for you to get involved in such project.

HIGH SCHOOL EXCHANGE PROGRAMS

This exchange program is designed to give to a high
school student the opportunity to study in a high school
in the United States while living in a host family.
This program may last from one semester to 1 full academic year.
The purpose of the program will notbe only studying in foreign high school and improving your English language skills. It is also about improving the knowledge about a different culture through active participation in family, community and school.
