Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain MongoDB/DocumentDB databases and applications.
- Utilize Python for scripting, automation, and data manipulation tasks.
- Implement ETL processes using AWS Glue for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
- Write efficient and optimized Mongo Query Language (MQL) queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda and orchestrate workflows with AWS Step Function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data pipelines and applications.
- Provide on-call support as needed for production systems.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with AngularJS for front-end development.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate for backend development.
- Experience working with Redis Cache for caching mechanisms.
- Knowledge of AWS SNS/SQS for messaging services.
- Understanding of AWS Batch for batch processing.
- Familiarity with Jasper Reports for generating and delivering interactive reports.
Other Skills:
- Availability for on-call support to address urgent technical issues outside of regular business hours.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development and data engineering.
- Proven expertise in MongoDB/DocumentDB, Python, ETL Glue, Mongo Query Language, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Function.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
