DESCRIPTION

The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition position is a highly visible role responsible partnering directly with VP level stakeholders as a thought leader, trusted advisor, and single point of contact for recruiting. The right candidate will serve as a consultant and leader responsible for setting and executing on the talent acquisition strategy for the business. This role will also advise business leadership on market trends and best practices in recruiting, help business and recruiting leaders look around corners to optimize hiring strategies, scale best practices in talent acquisition, drive process improvements and deliver on key initiatives including diversity.

The Sr. Recruiting Manager will work closely with the HR leader for the portfolio of businesses as well as lead a team of Recruiting Managers and Recruiters, and collaborate with Specialist Recruiting Partner teams, Finance and Capacity planners to determine the workforce plan and hiring demand forecast for the group and ensure appropriate recruiter staffing levels. The data-driven recommendations and insights that you provide will help to improve recruiting and diversity performance and ensure fulfilment of the annual hiring plan, and influence talent and site strategy.

Job responsibilities

The individual in this role will be a key member of the business leadership team as well as the North America Consumer recruiting leadership team. They must understand business and recruiting priorities, can diagnose problems and drive appropriate solutions, and be able to establish both recruiting priorities and operating mechanisms to drive change. The individual in this role must be able to interface effectively at all levels of the organization.

You will need a strong business acumen, data analytics background, excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and people management skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Build TA team capability to proactively source and build diverse candidate pools that will fulfill our client's annual hiring demand.
• Act as a TA lead for these lines of business and partner closely with TA leaders to ensure we are hiring the best talent and delivering the right results for the business.
• Partner with key stakeholders (Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and Recruiting Managers) to determine future talent needs and appropriate sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels where we can find the best, diverse talent who fit our business, technical and cultural demands.
• Build engage, manage and develop a team of high-performing staff in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
• Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.
• Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals without having to scale deployed resources at a rate faster than the business is growing.
• Periodically lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree.
10+ years of Recruiting and/or HR experience.
5+ years leading a team.
Experience building, coaching and managing a recruiting team.
Experience creating and executing effective talent acquisition strategies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Tech Recruiting leadership experience.
Adept at creating reports, interpreting metrics and driving overall insights/analysis.
Experience managing senior staff, recruiting managers and channel partner teams.
Organized and pragmatic; thrives in a results oriented environment.
Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of ROI.
Workforce planning experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
