ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Product Data Specialist, your top priority is curating, editing, and verifying the product data on our e-commerce site.
Product Data Specialists are expert researchers, proofreaders, and problem solvers, diving into our data to better organize and arrange our website, ultimately driving a better user experience for our customers.
A successful Product Data Specialist will thrive in this entrepreneurial environment amidst a mature industry using a healthy mix of creativity, critical thinking, and good old-fashioned elbow grease. YOU WILL
- Use your impressive Excel skills to map and organize data provided by our manufacturers
- Manage a detailed product data on-boarding process, carefully ensuring the integrity of that data
- Evaluate current data systems and structures to make our processes smarter and quicker
- Conduct market research to improve our position versus competitors in the industry
- Collaborate cross functionally to find opportunities to delight our customers through data
- Document and communicate within an agile project management system (JIRA, Confluence)
- A Bachelor’s degree, plus 1 year of internship or work experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivots and VLOOKUPs)
- Skill at utilizing Google to verify product information
- Multi-tasking capabilities and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- An analytical, detail-oriented personality with an ability to think creatively
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with customers, vendors, and team members
- Desire to learn and be impactful
