External Expert(s) to develop a foster care register and user manual in Albania (more specifically in the regions of Korça, Tirana, Vlora and Shkoder)
SOS Children’s Villages Albania (SOS AL) is a non-profit non-governmental organization and an active member of the Federation of SOS Children’s Villages, comprising 136 independent national associations. We work together with a single vision: every child belongs to a family and grows with love, respect and security. Since 1995, SOS AL has been operating in social protection by providing quality support care services for children and youth without parental care and community-based support services for vulnerable families.External Expert(s) to develop a foster care register and user manual in Albania (more specifically in the regions of Korça, Tirana, Vlora and Shkoder)
Our organization actively participates in policy-making and advocates for the rights of children and young people who are at social risk - as stated in the UN guidelines for alternative long-term care. We work closely with decision-makers, government institutions, civil society organizations and social service providers, and attach great importance to the involvement of young people in decision-making processes.
5 SOS Children´s Villages, respectively SOS Albania, SOS North Macedonia, SOS Ukraine, SOS Belarus and SOS Armenia have started the implementation of the Project “Addressing Systemic Gaps – Support to Child Welfare System Reforms”, which aims to improve children´s rights with a specific focus on supporting the reform of alternative care systems and the deinstitutionalisation process in these 5 target countries.
The bidders are welcome to submit their proposal for the development of a register for foster care services in Albania. This bid is open to all national suppliers (independent research consultants, companies, and academic institutions) who are legally constituted and can provide the requested services.
To facilitate the submission of proposals, the submission duly signed by the applicant can be done electronically in PDF format and sent to the official e-mail address info@soskd.org.al until 26.03.2024.
