Software Development Specialist

Purpose of position
Involve the entire software development life cycle including application development, implementation and maintenance.

Duties

  • Develop and implement software systems and applications to achieve company objectives;
  • Work closely with other staff such as project managers, designers, system analysts other developers;
  • Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects;
  • Prepare user documentation and training manuals;
  • Provide application support to the business users in troubleshooting and resolution of problems and incidents, and updating them of the progress;
  • Leverage advanced technical skills and knowledge to succeed in a software developer
  • career;
Skills

  • Programming windows and web applications, Web services, Windows services using C# and/or JAVA;
  • Goal achievement oriented and works well under pressure. Able to work on own initiative and as a part of team;
  • Clear communicator (verbal and written), Team Oriented, Problem solving;
  • Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken);
Experience

  • At least 1+ year/s of experience with software development;
Education

  • University Degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering;
