For our Swedish Client a leading global technology provider we are looking for a position in Tirana:

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER​

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Negotiate with customers to capture requirements, analyze needs and manage expectations;
• Actively participate in project definition, execution and maintenance;
• In a defined solutions architecture: manage, design, and develop software changes and updates;
• Support and monitor qualification, testing and installation of solutions;
• Support and train customers;
• Participate to project and product documentation;
• Test and validate new software and hardware;
• Able to work with the latest up-to-date technologies and methodologies in software development and quality assurance;
• Good problem solver and innovative spirit, practical, able to bring an idea from conception to implementation in strong industry environment;
• Team player within a multi-cultural group that can also work independently within common accepted rules and unified processes;
• Capable to manage a local working team in relation with the headquarter in Switzerland and the local management.

DESIRED PROFILE:

• Must have at least a Software Engineer degree (preferably M.Sc.) or equivalent;
• At least then 7 years of professional experience with at least the 3 last years in equivalent position and in relation with industrial environment;
• Confortable with continues delivery processes and automated quality assurance;
• Expert in programming languages and methodology: Java, C/C++;
• Development object oriented: design patterns, test-driven development, client/server and web apps;
• Operating systems mastering: Linux/Unix and Windows;
• Experience in mobile applications (IOS and Android) will be appreciate;
• Familiar with enterprise solutions environments, development and tools;
• Database modelling and programming (Oracle, MySql);
• Familiar with multithreading, real-time and communication protocols constraints;
• Enjoys and willingness to travel mainly in Europe and potentially worldwide;
• Excellent knowledge of English (written and oral).

REMUNERATION/ SALARY: Highly competitive.
