Direct Media is a communication agency providing a full range of services from media planning & buying, through research and consumer insights, to communication strategies and consulting. We specialize in helping our international and local clients to improve their communication strategy and presence in the media. With the support of our regional and partner networks we offer tailor-made and innovative solutions for communication needs, in all types of media and any country in Adriatic region.

Direct Media is seeking to recruit:

Media Planner

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day media plan development, campaign updates optimization based on internal marketing direction and the best use of media research and expertise.
• Negotiate and deliver the best efficiency and value for all media placements with the respective media outlets.
• Liaise daily with the Regional team, as media strategy is developed. All plans must be communicated to and along with this team.
• Possess the ability to clearly present and rationalize media plans to supervisor in written presentations, excel charts and power point decks and the same would apply to post-campaign analysis/reporting.
• Foster a good working relationship across departments within the organization and external points of contact to facilitate flawless execution of plans.
• Monitor and report on media marketplace to stay abreast of trends, identify opportunities in emerging media and related technologies.
• Collaborate with the media team in preparing quarterly, semi-annually & yearly market and client reviews.
• Manage Invoice and billing process to ensure accuracy within overall media budget.

Qualifications:

• University degree - preferable in Marketing and Economics
• Understanding of media basics and concepts
• Very good knowledge of English Language in written and speaking is a must.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

• Creative and proactive communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to communicate effectively at all vertical and horizontal hierarchy levels, internally and externally of the company.
