Demonstrate computer knowledge and skills. Experience with diverse software tools and hardware is often expected .
Duties and Responsibilities:
Setup, management, and maintenance of IT-related equipment.
Support end-users with IT-related problems in a responsive and service-oriented manner.
Monitor backup jobs and ensure high level of completion success rate.
Manage time and projects effectively.
Assist with the troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of systems, servers and PCs .
Able to install, configure, troubleshoot and support Windows clients
Perform other duties as necessary
Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Math or Physics or a technical field (such as CIS or IT) AND a minimum of 2 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Demonstrates proficient knowledge and utilization of engineering tools necessary for successful performance of the essential functions of this job description
Must demonstrate proficient ability to capture and document software requirements
Certification on particular systems or technologies desired
