- Create, review, and implement comprehensive DLP policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure policies effectively mitigate data loss risks while allowing necessary data usage.
- Generate regular reports on DLP metrics, incidents, and risks to present to leadership. Use these reports to drive decision-making and improvements in the DLP strategy.
- Lead and supervise the DLP team, providing direction, mentorship, and guidance in their roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with Law No 9887, "On the Protection of Personal Data," and other relevant data protection regulations.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations related to data protection and adjust DLP strategies accordingly.
- Develop and execute an overarching data protection strategy for the bank, encompassing DLP technologies and processes.
- Contribute to data security awareness and education initiatives for all staff members, assisting in training sessions or materials to promote best practices in data protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data protection measures into various bank operations and initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Law or Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Security/Cybersecurity.
- Background 5 years in Data Protection/Compliance, Information Security, Audit, or similar roles preferably within the banking or financial sector.
- Profound understanding of data protection laws and regulations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop a team to achieve organizational goals.
- Fluency in English; written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of regulatory regulations, legal framework and Bank’s products and services.
- Ability to gather, analyze and evaluate information.
- High levels of integrity and honesty.
- Ability to deal with confidentiality.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to adapt to change.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in data protection or information security (e.g., GDPR, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO27001) would be advantageous.
