Business Counselors for Entrepreneur Groups (Nucleus)
GIZ Programme “Economic Development and Employment Promotion” (EDEP), has introduced in Albania the Nucleus Approach. It organizes groups of 10 to 15 business owners from a selected sector who come together on a regular base to discuss their problems and to jointly work on solutions. Examples from other countries show that this leads to a higher competitiveness and profitability of the participating enterprises.
Each group is supported by a Nucleus Counselor, who moderates and structures the discussions and helps the groups in the realization of activities. Each counselor will serve approximately 10 groups in parallel. The counselor will identify and mobilize the knowledge, potentials and resources found within the group.
GIZ EDEP is planning to organize a second round of training for business counselors. They are expected to fulfill the following tasks:
• Convene the group regularly and moderate the discussions, leading to joint problem identification, solution finding and activity planning
• Support the implementation of activities of the group
• Mobilize further new groups and replacements for existing groups
• Prepare reports and give input to monitoring tools
We are looking for people who can offer the following profile of competences:
- Preferably two years of post-secondary education in marketing, accounting, management, etc.
- Have a professional experience of at least one year with companies and / or consulting firms.
- Mastering of English is a mandatory condition for participation
- Strong analytical skills and capacity to synthesize and communicate in easily intelligible manner
- Ability to lead and work with people and in groups, and to establish networks
- Good moderation and facilitation skills
- Good result-oriented and problem-solving capacity. Entrepreneurial thinking with confidence to face challenges
- Computer literacy
- Good communication skills and have good work Ethics
The training is held in Tirana and no accommodation costs are covered for participation.
