On behalf of a development organization in Albania, we are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Intervention Manager for Skills development. The organization is implementing a project which goal is to contribute to economic growth and increase youth employment opportunities in Albania.

Main job purpose:
Responsible for the design and the results-oriented implementation of interventions in Skills Development for private non formal training providers with a special focus in the sectors of Tourism and ICT.

Main Tasks:
  • Lead on and manage the design and implementation of interventions in the skills development component;
  • Lead on and manage on in-depth research and analysis;
  • Liaise closely with key stakeholders (both private and public) in the sector;
  • Ensure consistency of intervention with the overall project strategic framework;
  • Manage and coordinate relationships with sub-contracting partners and provide strategic guidance and oversight (quality insurance);
  • Design and implement a monitoring plan according to the working methodology of the project;
  • Liaise closely with other team members (other intervention managers, Gender and Social Inclusion, Monitoring and Result Measurement) to foster synergies and effective project implementation;
  • Stimulate and participate in knowledge sharing and management, both at the national and international level;
  • Present the his/her component objectives, interventions and results toward key stakeholders and interested audiences;
  • Contribute in the operational reports, internal and external reviews and publications for the sector.
Qualifications:
  • University degree: BA or MA in business, social science or human resource development;
  • 3-5 years of experience in the private sector development;
  • Proven track record of initiating and successfully driving new business/commercial initiatives;
  • Experience in strategic management, including finance and administration ;
  • Ambitious and creative self-starter;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Strong facilitation skills;
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a larger team;
  • Ability to write technical documents in English;
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.

  • Monthly salary: 170,000-200,000 ALL Gross depending on candidate experience
  • The starting date for this position would be November 2021
