Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with a strong background in data analysis, machine learning,
and data collection techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing scripts for our
sports model, managing data collection via scraping and APIs, and building a UI for visualization of the model
predictions.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain Python scripts for advanced data analysis and predictive modeling in sports analytics.
● Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms using libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or
PyTorch.
● Design and execute data collection strategies, including web scraping and API data retrieval, while ensuring
compliance with legal standards.
● Build and maintain a basic UI for effective visualization of predictive analytics, integrating front-end
technologies and Python visualization libraries.
● Collaborate with data scientists to refine data for model training and validation.
● Ensure the quality and integrity of data used in models and visualizations.
● Document and manage the codebase using version control systems like Git.
Skills and Qualifications:
● 2+ years of professional experience in Python development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating data
analysis projects.
● Proficiency in Python, with extensive knowledge of data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
● Demonstrated experience with machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
● Experience in data collection via web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy) and API integrations.
● Proven ability to develop user interfaces, preferably with experience in frameworks such as Dash, Flask, or
similar.
● Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, data structure, and algorithm optimization.
● Experience with data visualization tools and libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
● Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is
a plus.
● Excellent problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Preferred Additional Skills:
● A passion for basketball and sports analytics.
● Experience with real-time data processing and analytics.
● Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
