Public Relations Specialist

Purpose of position:
Implement and maintain effective organizational communication system that supports the objectives of the business.

Main Tasks:
  • Create and deliver press releases, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletters, and speaking proposals.
  • Identify, develop, and execute communication strategies for key media contacts.
  • Research media coverage and industry trends to stay informed.
  • Develop innovative and fresh story ideas to enhance the company's narrative.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for media-related activities.
  • Effectively manage and organize information related to corporate communications.
  • Prepare agendas and conduct research as needed for communication initiatives.
  • Develop various communication materials.
  • Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications for accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal and executive communications plan aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and product positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with Human Resources, Marketing, Product, and other departments to execute communication initiatives from conceptualization to delivery.
  • Create various internal and executive communications, including news, announcements, and blogs, to be disseminated across multiple communication channels.
  • Oversee the company’s internal communications channels, including the intranet, social media private groups, and newsletters.
  • Manage the PR, CSR, and Internal budget lines using SAP Program and report financial information to the finance department via Excel Files.
  • Organize and support internal events by managing various organizational aspects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Work with managers and business units to determine event budgets and ensure expenses align
  • Undertake any other duties as requested by the organization.
Education: University Degree in Communication, Literature or Journalism.

Experience and Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in writing in corporate environment, familiarity with communication channels, previous experience inside the company is an advantage.

Skills:
  • Creative and organized person with an attitude that takes tasks forward;
  • Able to work independently while being open to working in group;
  • Very skilled in writing both in English and Albanian languages;
  • Very well knowledge of these two languages;
  • Part of the job includes maintaining community spirit within the company so excellent communication and social skills are required;
  • Open minded person, eager to learn new things and accept everyone as equal;
  • High emotional intelligence is an asset very much needed for the success of this position.
