We are inviting ambitious professionals to apply for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (M&E).

MISSION
Supports the organization with periodic program performance reports based on data collection, analysis of project activities, development of quantitative and qualitative indicators, including communications, presentations, and analytical support activities.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Responsible for developing company Dashboard Reporting, a firm based as well as department level reporting, containing key project performance indicators (KPI) results.
  • Analyse the Key Performance Indicator data; present them in writing and in concise manner through narrative in program performance report.
  • Perform performance analysis of the project’s activities, high level and component indicators based on project activity plans
  • Compiles company periodical reporting as required for Management, Investors and Regulators
  • Establish reporting necessary to monitor various business activities, data trends, key indicators, and other tools to diagnose the ‘health’ of company’s business progress
  • Interpret performance measures, collecting and analyses of performance information, by assisting Managers in using the performance information for decision-making
  • Address ad hoc inquiries from different business lines for performance analysis such as providing explanations of performance fluctuations and anomalies
  • Work in partnership with product teams to resolve issues and improve overall processes
  • Perform daily and monthly calculation, reconciliation, control, and outlier reporting of performance for defined industry and performance benchmarks
  • Identify inefficiencies in the production processes and make recommendations on how to improve them
OUTCOMES
Companys full Dashboard reporting and analytical monitoring of department’s progress and key indicators is established and maintained as per highest standards.
Within first 5 weeks of employment become well acquainted with:

  • Companys reporting framework (internal and external)
  • Industry and each unit performance benchmark
  • Companys Objective Key Results
  • Companys lending and collection processes
  • Know-how and navigation ability of internal reporting system
Within first 12 weeks of employment provides:

  • Propose high standard structure and design for Dashboard reporting and analytical monitoring of department’s progress and key indicators

√ Ability to quickly learn complex business process and terminology.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

√ Degree in relevant field
√ Ability to write concisely and narrate development story based on numbers and figures
√ Minimum of three years of progressively responsible professional experience in the monitoring & evaluation and/or projects reporting
√ Experience in banking or microfinance industry is desired but not mandatory.
