Position: Income Auditor
Department: Finance
Location: Hilton Garden Inn, Tirane

Job Requirements:

  • Sort out the Night Audit Reports.
  • Ensure that all reports are in balance.
  • Check Rate Report and Rate Override Report signed by Reservation/Revenue Manager and ensures that any low or unusual rates or any other room rate discrepancies are justified/explained
  • Prepare the Daily Report
  • Daily, the Income reconciles all revenue & settlement accounts between the POS, PMS, Other Revenue sources and the G/L to confirm revenue is accurately recorded
  • All variances are explained, researched, and resolved timely by the income auditor
  • Follow up Fiscalization process on daily basis and reconcile with Financial Program/Accounts.
  • Reconcile various general ledger accounts daily or at month end.
  • Preparation of Reconciliations & supporting documents.
  • Guest Safety deposit boxes have to be audited in specific time frames
  • Review Deposits to ensure current.
  • Record and follow up the cashiers O&S in line with GC.
  • Participate at House Funds audits, as per Hilton policy
  • Answering for the claims from the client, about charges, credit cards etc.
To be successful in this role you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Experience in the hotel / leisure / retail sector
- Possesses strong organizational skills
- A good understanding of financial operating systems and procedures
- Strong influencing, inter-personal analytical skills
- It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous Accounts/Finance experience in a high volume department, preferably within a hotel environment
- Experience with the PeopleSoft system
