We are seeking a HEAD OF LEGAL AND HUMAN REROURCES for a international company based in Albania.


This dual-role position involves overseeing all legal matters pertaining to the company's operations and leading the human resources department. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both legal and HR practices, preferably with experience in the agricultural or manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Compliance: Ensure the company's operations comply with local and international laws and regulations. Handle legal issues, including contracts, labor law, corporate governance, and compliance matters.
• Employee Relations and HR Policies: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
• Manage employee relations, ensuring fair and legal treatment of all staff.
• Recruitment and Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment process, identifying talent needs and ensuring the company attracts and retains high-quality employees
• Training and Development: Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and promote professional development.
• Performance Management: Develop performance management systems that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Legal Advice and Risk Management: Provide legal advice to management on various business matters. Assess and mitigate legal risks facing the company.
• Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with legal standards.

Qualifications and Competency profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Legal role and HR management, preferably in the agriculture, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Albanian labor laws and international legal standards.
• Proficient in HR practices, including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Albanian and proficiency in English.
• High ethical standards and professionalism.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Strategic thinker with an ability to see the big picture.
