DUTY FREE ALBANIA is seeking to hire an experienced IT&T Director. The IT&T Director oversees the management, leadership, and coordination of departmental policies, procedures, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the IT strategy plan in line with the strategic plan of the Group and ensure its implementation in line with the local legislation;
• Ensure continuous operation of the IT systems (both network infrastructure, value-added services and equipment);
• Provide support for users both in stores, back office and warehouses including their training in IT technologies used by the company;
• Oversee constant network operation, ensuring quick problem resolution;
• Plans and coordinates IT projects, plans HW and SW maintenance in line with the defined budget and in close coordination with the central IT team of the Group;
• Coordinate internal and external specialists, monitoring their performance;
• Maintain secure operation of the telecommunication system;
• Ensure protection and security of internal/external networks and systems mainly by implementing of the company security policy;
• Assist departments/offices with comprehensive technology consultancy proposing efficient IT solution;
• Propose and monitor the IT budget, (monitors TCO of proposed solutions, IT costs controlling);
• Liaise with other department directors/managers to ensure understanding of objectives, purposes, and achievements of the IT&T Department;
• Monitor, measure, and report on departmental issues, opportunities, and development plans;
• Continuous improvement of processes of the organization by proposing new technologies in RPA, automation and AI;

Key Working Relationship:

Internal:

• All business units;
• International IT and IT Security team of the Group;
• Reporting to CEO;
• Supervising IT Technician(s);

External:

• Related contractors, IT&T consultancies;

Contract Management:

• Maintenance of IT&T hardware;
• Software providers;
• Fixed-line telephony and internet provider.

Location: Tirana International Airport.

Person Specifications:
Education: University Degree in Information Technology/Electronic Engineering
Qualifications: At least three years of experience in related job responsibilities,
Experience in managing technology projects, experience in retail company and SAP experience is of a great advantage;
Skills and Abilities: Relationship management,
Effective negotiation,
Relationship building, and influencing skills.
Ability to listen and to translate the business needs into IT/IS solutions.
Project management skills,
Plan, prioritize, and implement plans successfully;
Effective problem-solving in the business context,
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Fluent in English,
Credible, confident, diplomatic, and with integrity.
