CASH OFFICE RESPONSIBLE

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Cash Office Responsible, you ensure the store follows the companies accounting, payroll and cash handling policies and procedures to comply with legislation and prevent losses.
You work together with the management team to keep the store up to date and well informed of all administrative policies and routines.
Administration/Routines:
Provide input for the requirements for the POS and Back-office system
Define local store routines in collaboration with local and global stakeholders, including
security and administrative routines
Researches all cash differences and follow up with Management on loss prevention.
Complete all cash handling and accounting requirements in a secure, accurate and timely
manner
Ensure stationery and supply materials for back office and cash desk.
Ensure that all technical equipment (tills, scanners, back-office equipment) are in working
order and any faults are reported and followed up
Makes sure that all store transfers and price changes are being done in the right way.
Keep a tidy and organized back of house, following safety and security requirements and
partners up with the management team to ensure the stores compliance with all cash
office routines.
Provide excellent direct and indirect customer service according to H&M standards
Acts as a Role model at all times.
Training:
Communicates all new/adapted store routine and policy changes to other members of
Management and staff.
Trains employees on all cash point procedures and store routines.
Verify local translations in the till and back office
Act as the single point of contact for in store solutions (e.g., scanners, tablets and
screens)
Act as the single point of contact for Support Office regarding questions on store
routines, POS and BO
Skills and Experience:
Being organized and have strong planning skills
Ability to set goals, delegate work and follow up result
Meticulous, sales-minded and great with numbers
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Being clear in communicating with the team
Proactive and driven
Be able to give and take feedback
A friendly, social and supportive approach
Open minded and willing to learn
Good training skills
Preferably 2-3 years of retail experience in similar position
Fluent English, both verbally and in writing
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
Ability to travel as necessary (i.e. training, store opening)
