Automation Engineer
“ALFA” Sh.a at Agna Group (Glina Factory in Gjirokastër) is looking to hire a competent and motivated candidate with strong business acumen and excellent quality control skills, eager to learn and with ambition to grow professionally. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing automated solutions to optimize processes and workflows within the Plant. The candidate will collaborate with other teams to identify areas for automation & deploy innovative solutions that enhance efficiency & scalability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop an Automation Plan for the Plant
- Fulfil the requirements from the company goals about Plant automation
- Evaluate existing automation in the lines & identify the opportunities for more automation in the Plant.
- Design & develop automation project through PLC & other automation tools & integrate those projects with the existing automation.
- Test, validate & deploy the automated processes & workflows
- Maintain, monitor & upgrade the automation processes
- Document the automation in details & train the related specialists & operators
- Collaborate with IT & other specialists
- Report to Plant Director
- Bachelor's/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in automation development, preferably in a food industry
- Knowledge in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in automation technologies or RPA (robotic process automation)
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing, DevOps, etc.
