The company is a joint group of experts in the Human Resources area.
We are looking for a potential candidate for the position of Logistic & Transport Manager for an International Company.

Logistic & Transport Manager
Overall Description
Logistic & Transport Manager is responsible for management of logistics operations and the routes of product transportation. This position links all the processes involved from obtaining the raw materials through to delivering the finished goods to the distributor’s location on time, under budget and intact

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Overseeing all the activities of import, receipt, dispatch, storage of product/goods.
  • Organize comprehensive logistical functions, recommending the optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, frequency
  • Analyze all aspects of logistics to determine the most cost-effective of transporting product and supplies.
  • Negotiate with suppliers or transporters to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
  • Monitor raw material import processes to ensure compliance with regulatory Interacting with the warehouse for direct inbound or outbound logistics operations activities.
  • Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as; commercial, order management, accounting, and production.
  • Ensuring all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure
  • smooth operations.

Skills and qualifications:
  • University degree in Economics in Business Administration, Transportation Administration or an equivalent combination of training and supply chain experience.
  • At least 3 years similar work experience.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Tact, diplomacy and calmness, especially when dealing with tired drivers and complaints from the market.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • An analytic mind and good numeracy skills.
  • Good people management and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage the budget and the costs
  • Very good knowledge of English language, Italian communication skills intermediate level
