Profesionisti Recruitment Agency part ofÇelësi Media Group, on behalf of our Client, is looking for a potential candidate for the position of Logistics Manager to join their expanding business.
Summary of the position: To succeed in this role, the Logistics Manager should have thorough knowledge of supply chain management and an understanding of dispatching orders and tracking transportation vehicles. The ideal candidate should also be familiar with safety processes and legal regulations.
Duties and Responsibility:
- Manages the daily dispatch functions for all assigned drivers. Maintains knowledge of all processes and procedures required to execute assigned tasks.
- Track orders using functional systems (e.g. barcodes and tracking software)
- Offers innovative solutions that meet clients’ needs while remaining cost effective
- Manage inventory as well as transportation and other logistics processes;
- Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost;
- Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met;
- Responsible for communicating with customers and shippers regarding any changes to schedules and pick-ups throughout the day.
- Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements;
- Maintains relationships with technology, software, and security vendors
- Identifies staffing needs and works with human resources colleagues to pursue the hiring process
- Upholds a sense of customer service and measures client satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, business administration or engineering
- 5+ years of experience working in logistics or transportation operations
- Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles
- Strong team player and solid knowledge of supply chain management
- Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Must demonstrate very good communication skills both written and oral.
- Must possess excellent personal computer skills and having working knowledge of logistics software.
