Forschner Albania is seeking to employ experienced candidates for position of Health & Safety and Environment Officer
Summary of the Job Position
To co-ordinate, support and advise the Business on all aspects with regards to Health and Safety. To establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety System in Forschner Albania.
Main Responsabilities
· Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health. Promote the company as a safe place of work for employees and collaborators;
· Ensure that all the Health and Safety procedures and regulation are created, adhered and periodically reviewed based on legal ground;
· Ensure the creation of risk assessment for all the position, work places, machineries;
· Precaution and suggestions in order to prevent accidents in the work place;
· Development of health and safety rules and procedures;
· Staff training for Health and Safety and training protocol on this issue;
· Keep up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation and communicate relevant changes to the business;
· Responsible for environment management system;
· Developing and maintaining the standardized operational procedures in accordance with the environmental compliance, interpreting the environmental disturbance risks, and communicating with environmental regulatory authorities for compliance assistance;
· Inspecting and evaluating the proceedings of organizational facilities with regards to compliance laws and regulations of local, state, and federal government
· Updating plans and specifications for managing the hazardous chemical substances, providing back up plan in case of emergencies like accidental spillage, and training the workers to handle the cleanup procedure with safety;
Preferred job profile
· University degree in engineering field;
· Excellent English language knowledge;
· Experience in similar position would be an asset;
· Ability to work in team and promote the work;
· Highly motivated person;
· Flexibility to work over time when is needed;
· Excellent computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office (excel sheets advanced level)
