TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is currently seeking to hire a dynamic and proactive Regulatory Compliance Officer to join Compliance Unit.

TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is currently seeking to hire a dynamic and proactive Regulatory Compliance Officer to join Compliance Unit.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the changes of the Regulatory Framework and managing and updating the Compliance Legal Chart accordingly
- Monitoring the timely drafting of the procedures (from other departments) that have been defined as necessary due to legal changes, for further reporting to the Head of Unit; Assisting the Head of Unit in preparing Compliance draft procedures prior to submitting to Compliance Manager;
- Assisting in the preparation of the quarterly control reports related to regulatory compliance;
- Managing inquiries and demand of Branches/ Departments/ Divisions related to regulatory compliance issues;
- Managing the responses to various inquiries from Public Penal Authorities (Judicial Authorities, HIDAA, Data Protection Commissioner, etc.) concerning customers’ personal data declassification at request of Compliance Manager;
- Assisting the Head of Unit in processing of inquiries related to Conflict of Interest and Code of Conduct, transparency, personal data protection, customer complaints, design of new products, advertisements of products & services
- Follow up of FATCA and CRS requirements as well as carrying out of controls;
- Works with Compliance Manager (DPO) relating to business partner contracts on data protection matters.
- Monitor compliance with the data protection policy of the bank, including the assignment of responsibilities, awareness-raising of your staff involved in the processing operations; Performs impact assessment on data protection matters within the organizational unit that is managing (leading), as per the data protection policy of the bank in force
- Any other duty that is delegated by the supervisor.
- 1 – 3 years of related experience, preferably in banking or other financial institutions;
Required education:
- University degree in Law field;
- Computer literacy;
- English proficiency;
