Job Title: Relationship Officer
Organizational Unit: SME Department
Reports to: Manager of SME Department


TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is currently seeking to hire a dynamic and proactive Relationship Officer to join SME Department.


Main Responsibilities:
·Collaborates with SME Manager in defining the objectives and drawing up the business activities;
·Plan & carries out meetings with existing or potential clients in order to examine, develop and/or expand collaboration with them, by giving them financial advice and by informing them about the types of products;
·Investigates, identifies and responds to the banking needs of the clients;
·Is responsible for the proper and effective sale of products as well as for the overall management of clients after the initial sale of the product.;
·Is responsible for the market research in order to identify client’s needs;
·Stays informed of new products & services designed by the bank for business clients;
·Promotes the image of the bank within his/her own professional & social circle;
·Deals with credit operations, recommends financial proposals, participates in the approval procedure to the extent of his authority and manages the related portfolios;
·Analyses and evaluates financial data of business, verifies that Customer has prepared and submitted financial and legal change information fully and accurately and draws up recommendations for credit;
·Analyses loan applications from SME and structures credit arrangements in order to generate interest income while limiting credit losses;
·Prepares loan underwriting including: assessing the credit worthiness of applicant companies, financial statements, business and personal cash flow;
·Monitors the outstanding loan commitments to ensure projects proceed and loans are closed in a timely manner;
·Complies with the regulative framework, whether this arises from rules and directives of the Bank of Albania or from the Bank’s own circulars (banking confidentiality, money laundering, etc.)
·Any other duty assigned by the supervisor;



Required experience:
·Minimum 5 years of experience in the Banking sector, preferably in similar positions in the Business field and/or landing process;

Required education:
·University Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting (mandatory & preferably in English language);
·MBA or MA in Economics, Finance or Business Administration (considered as an advantage);
·Excellent knowledge of English written and spoken (mandatory);
·Excellent knowledge of P/C (Excel, MS Word) (mandatory);


Required competencies / skills:
·Strong credit judgment with creative and flexible thinking;
·Flexibility, team spirit and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines ;
·The individual must have excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills, strong presentation skills, be a fast learner and able to adopt quickly to a new and dynamic environment;
