Manager - Appraisals Department

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

To manage the overall activity of the Department and deliver high quality output in full compliance with the respective regulatory framework;
To manage the preparation of valuation standard templates according to valuation standards applied in the Republic of Albania and as per internal instructions of the Bank;
To control and approve the appraisal/reappraisal reports for real estate properties and machineries, equipment and vehicles prepared by independent external appraisers;
To assign and control the internal appraisers for the preparation of appraisal/reappraisal reports for the valuation of properties to be or taken as loan collaterals;
To implement and manage the whole process of sale/lease activity of foreclosed assets taken by the Bank from ex-borrowers’ collateral executions;
To manage and supervise the works done according to the legal and banking regulations and fulfilling the respective duties under internal regulation and manuals;
To follow up respective laws and regulations and to ensure adaptation of the Bank against new legal developments or changes;
To perform extensive researches of the Albanian market for real estate and movable properties;
To maintain the real estate database with detailed information, such as surface, prices, urban development, types of property, marketability of property, etc. throughout Albania, taken also from the evaluation reports examined and accepted by the Bank;
To manage the performance evaluation and continuous training of the Department members.

Qualifications:

To be graduated from Polytechnic, Economic, Agricultural Universities or foreign university officially recognized as equivalent to the above mentioned;
To have license from the Albanian Authority in immovable or movable property valuation fields;
To have license from the Albanian Authority in topography, architectural or construction field in appliance and projection (preferable);

To possess very good professional, communication and managerial skills with high integrity;
To possess main computer programs of Windows XP (Autocad program is preferable);
To have very good command of the English language (Turkish language is preferable);
Minimum 5 years of experience in valuation of immovable or movable property;
Similar experience in banking sector, international real estate or valuation companies is an advantage;
Having a driving license and no restrictions for traveling (preferable).
