Position Purpose:

This position is responsible for i) handling collection calls and/ or correspondence in a fast paced, goal oriented and courteous manner; ii) providing customer service regarding collection issues, resolve client discrepancies and short payments; iii) monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts, account adjustments, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos; iv) reducing delinquency for assigned accounts.


Duties & Responsibilities:

High volume phone calls to assigned delinquent customers, based on product segmentation; super loan, credit card, overdraft;
Past due payment negotiations and deals (repayment plan, promise to pay);
SMS & email notifications;
Send notification letters and warning letters;
Maintain up-to-date customer contact information in the collections system or manually;
Coordination with field collection unit and branches for potential deals (restructuring);
Address and coordinate any issue related with non-performing loans;
Prioritization of the soft collection agenda based on the approved criteria;
Reporting of the collection activity performance on daily, weekly and monthly basis to the supervisors;
Utilize various means of skip tracing to locate customers;
Escalate and assist other team members with calls as needed;
Participate in team planning meetings;
Meet defined department goals and activity metrics;
Weekly and monthly reporting to direct supervisor;
Monthly Delinquency notices;
Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of due outstanding balances;
Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

University Degree;
Previous “call center” experience;
Very good knowledge of spoken and written English;
Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with (pro) active listening;
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types;
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively;
Very good knowledge of PC, Microsoft Office;
Strong attention to details, goal oriented approach;
Commitment to excellent customer service;
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities;
