Head of Global Services and Innovation Department
Duties
· Understand the Albanian’s market requirements and needs in technology innovation.
· Align Albtelecom’s business development and partnership management priorities with market’s needs.
· Manage and own the full cycle of innovation and partnership including but not limited to cloud computing, colocation, IT outsourcing, ICT services, smart solutions, relationship building, negotiating licensing/agreement, proof-of-concepts, managing end-to-end product development with partners (startups, SOHO, SMB, etc.)
· Proactive to propose innovative ideas and use cases to enable new technologies for Albtelecom. The technologies include ICT, Smart Solutions, Cloud Computing, Data Centers, services, and other emerging technologies.
· New products and services to enable Mobile, Telco and IT convergence
· Research and evaluate new technologies that can differentiate Albtelecom products from our competitors.
· Analyze the impact of new technology on Albtelecom’s core products/solutions, and present new opportunities and/or technology strategies to integrate them to our products/solutions.
· Define Albtelecom’s Global Services and Innovation strategy and define market requirements
· Identify opportunities for potential local companies’ collaboration.
· Provide regular technical report and cooperate with other Departments of Innovation Group
Skills
· In-depth knowledge of market trends and enabling technologies.
· Must constantly innovative to define new use cases, feature sets and market requirements for next generation products.
· Capable of developing comprehensive competitive analysis and propose innovative ideas for product and service differentiations.
· Highly self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently in an extremely fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
Experience
· 3+ years of experience in technology development for mobile, networking, wireless, services or other emerging technologies
· 5+ years of experience in business development and partner management with service providers, carriers, startups, network equipment providers or venture capitalists
Education
· Master (or higher) degree in electrical and electronics engineering, and/or computer science
· MBA or equivalent experience
