Devices Portfolio Expert - Handsets and Accessories
Purpose of Position:
Monitor the Global trends and local market, analyze opportunities and propose future products for company merchandise and equipment portfolio.
Main Duties
- Actively follow new technologies, and new products on the Global market, analyze in the context of the local market, company strategy, and services and propose relevant changes in the merchandise portfolio.
- Produce quarterly forecasts for needed supplies based on future products, sales history, and targets.
- Monitor on regular bases sales and availabilities to provide analyses and forecasts for supplies, as well as optimization and/or boosting costs, sales, and revenues.
- Follow and control portfolio size/content per segment, considering the company customer base, strategy, and department targets.
- Monitor products lifecycle and act to optimize portfolio status. Proposes actions for management of slow and bad stock.
- Monitor local market, analyze company products costs and prices, and proposes respective changes.
- Observe Merchandise Management Calendar and Roadmap and propose product promotions.
- Coordinate end-to-end implementation to launch the planned campaigns and promotions.
- Prepare internal communication materials about new products, brands, promotions, and campaigns.
- Work with Retail Sales, B2B sales and Training Departments to provide knowledge and USPs (Unique Sales Points) for merchandise products.
- Inform Sales departments on availability, order status, new launches, product discontinuations, gives solution in case of insufficient availability etc.
- Act as point of contact for merchandise vendors, maintain relationship and facilitates the commercial negotiations, plan of promotions.
- Follow up brands calendars and act upon to implement relevant for company products and promotions.
- Apply Merchandise Management strategy for vendor management in the cooperation with assigned vendors.
- Monitor and follow up deliveries (vs. forecast), alert on issues and act to implement corrective measures.
- Coordinate the ordering and logistics processes of the products.
- Participate in the process of device testing and customization according to the Company’s requirements.
- Work closely with Products and Proposition Department to support in with core services implementation and maintenance.
- Coordinate the implementation of Merchandising Standard in Exclusive Shops and portfolio for B2B and On-line Sales.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the line manager and in accordance with the employees’ qualification and responsibilities.
- Very good analytical skills and critical Thinking;
- Excellent MS Office skills;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Very good communication skills and very good command of English;
- Initiative and Creativity;
- Knowledge in Product & Services Management;
- A professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public;
- At least three years of previous experience in the area of Product Management, Retail Sales, Planning, Vendor Management, Point of Sales Promotions;
- University Degree in the field of Economics, Marketing, or Technology;
