Main Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Balfin Group Vice President, involved in monitoring and analyzing existing local and international investments and analyzing potential future investments.
- Identify and investigate options for improving businesses operation, as an internal consultancy role, with the responsibility to report accurate and coherent recommendations.
- Responsible for compiling product cost statements, break even analysis to identify the most efficient cost of production. Review monthly financial and operational results and diagnostic any special cost study.
- Economic evaluations to evaluate the economic feasibility of projects, thereby facilitating the investment decision making process aligned to the business drivers.
- Economic analysis that supports the investment decision.
- Prepare cost analysis, both historical and forecast, with supporting documentation.
- Support the development function by delivering economic analysis that supports the investment for primary and secondary development activities
- Market and commodity data research collection, analysis and preparation of various reports for different levels of management, board of directors.
- Performing risk based economic evaluations to evaluate the economic feasibility of projects, thereby facilitating the investment decision making process aligned to the business drivers.
- Integration of risks into economic evaluation to support decision-making.
- Business case analysis development. Supporting the company investment decision.
- Prepare cost analysis, both historical and forecast, with supporting documentation.
- Collate data, prepare economic models and present different scenarios
- Support the development function by delivering economic analysis that supports the investment decision for primary and secondary development activities.
- Market data research collection, analysis and preparation of various reports for presenting at different levels of management, the board of directors.
- Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing format reports and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations
- Other ad hoc duties on Balfin Group companies: Tirana Logistic Park, Skopje Mall
- Any other task assigned by the Vice President
- The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years work experience with an economic analysis background.
- Previous experience with a Big4 audit firm is an advantage
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance or equivalent is required, preferably with an accompanying MBA.
- Work well independently and within a matrix team.
- Strong IT literacy (Excel, Word, Power Point) and a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Strong accounting knowledge and experience
- Good conceptual and integrative thinking
- Highly numerically inclined with strong analytic and coordination skills
- Self-motivated and can adapt to changing priorities.
- Works well in ambiguous environments.
- Working closely with corporate executives and senior managers, interacts comfortably at all levels of the organization with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
