The IT Software Specialist/SQL developer is responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining SQL functionality primarily in.
This position will work directly with IT leadership to provide new programs and queries to support production running.
Duties and responsibilities:
-Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
-Ensuring database performance and stability.
-Creating SQL queries that will integrate with other applications.
-Suggest new queries to improve areas of production.
-Troubleshoots, diagnoses of software/hardware problems and fixes them.
-Technical support in IT and Testing Systems.
Requirements and qualifications:
-Graduated on Engineering or Computer Science.
-Good understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
-Ability to create and modify databases.
-Other programming languages will be a plus.
-IBM AS400 knowledge will be a plus.
