Housekeeping Manager
Responsibilities:
- Plans the work for the housekeeping department and distributes assignments accordingly;
- Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire Hotel;
- Ensure that rooms are made as per company standard;
- Maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniform;
- Organize inventories with Accounts and Store for linen, uniform and fixed assets;
- Develop and implement Housekeeping systems and procedures;
- Attending and resolving guest complaints;
- Organize on-the job training and evaluate its effectiveness;
- Recruit, interview and train team members;
- Perform daily inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure the best possible service;
- Assign duties to other staff and give instructions regarding work methods and routines;
- Organizing and setting up on-going deep clean schedules;
- Three years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, or other similar position;
- Extensive knowledge of environmental services, including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment;
- Customer oriented approach;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Good organizational and time-management skills;
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant managemetn software);
- Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in English language;
