The Coding Teacher will work with our experienced staff to lead classroom instruction for children coding. In this role, you’ll spend time in the classroom creating amazing experiences with kids ages 7-16! You’ll have the opportunity to work behind the scenes with our dynamic team of teachers and designers to develop new strategies and update our learning platform day by day.
In this role, you will:
-Deliver fun computer science learning experiences
-Utilize your education and knowledge of current technology trends to contribute to the development of our courses
-Work collaboratively with our design team to create new courses using our online platform and face-to-face courses
-Work with passionate students and staff in a technology immersive environment
-Engage students in CODE themed enrichment activities and team building exercises
-Contribute to the documentation of children’s projects
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, education, or related field required
Programming, and/or technology teaching experience is a plus
-Familiarity with computer languages Java, Python, and JavaScript is a plus
-Tech-savvy, upbeat, and a passion for working with children
-English is a must,both written and spoken
