EPPC Albania on behalf of its client, SHELL Upstream Albania, is currently recruiting a HSSE Site Advisor.

Major responsibilities:

• Work closely with the site drilling/operation/logistic team to reduce both process safety and personal safety incidents;
• Communicate expectations to achieve zero harm to people and the environment (Goal Zero);
• Bring together the required stakeholders and facilitate risk assessment creation sessions;
• Conduct HSSE assurance (Audits and inspections) by bringing together the required expertise and responsible personnel. Capture findings and follow up to closure in line with approved assurance procedures;
• Deliver compliance to HSSE & SP Control Framework during site activities;
• Deliver compliance to the Albanian legislation HSSE requirements for planning and work execution at site;
• Provision of HSE training (Induction training to the new joiners at site) and other training as per SUA HSSE training matrix and as needed;
• Assure the required HSSE certificates and licenses are in place and up to date during different activities;
• Coach all site staff in HSSE matters and Safety Leadership (develop strong HSE culture);
• Execute Contractor and subcontractor audits. Report audit fining and develop remedial action plans;
• Part of the Emergency Response team & support incident reporting and investigation.

Requirements for this position are:

• University degree in Engineering;
• At least 5+ years of proven experience in similar role in mining/chemical/construction industry;
• A professional certification e.g. NEBOSH certification or equivalent is preferred;
• Knowledge of Albanian work safety regulation;
• Knowledge and experience to manage health and safety policy;
• Fluent in English (MUST).
