Roaming Specialist
Purpose of Position: Assist in managing, administrating, and controlling of One Albania's International Roaming agreements, (commercial and operational) in order to achieve the best possible relations with International Roaming Partners, best quality of roaming services and best results in revenue/cost and business development.
Main Tasks:
  • Assess and monitor the roaming business evolution. Perform a trend analysis per operator/country/region.
  • Assist and collaborate with the IR head in the procedures of International Roaming Agreements with GSM foreign networks.
  • Act as internal and external point of contact for Roaming related queries
  • Handle, monitor and coordinate the in/out roaming business-related communications related but not limited to:
    • Complaints, issues related to technical/ financial/ invoices/ charging/ Bill Disputes;
    • Handle the correspondence with roaming partners for the roaming invoices, discount agreements, credit notes etc.;
    • Handle the international roaming contracts (IRAs, SMS IW, SMS HUBs);
  • Conduct the commercial/financial analysis on a regular basis to monitor the profitability and the margins needed as a foundation in producing the yearly commercial plan and budget for each year.
  • Prepare management reports and recommend and follow up agreed actions to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Prepare Roaming Budgeting: Utilization Volumes, Revenue/Cost, etc.
  • Provide regular updates on Roaming activities including follow-up reporting on status of roaming partners progress at all stages in the implementation and launch process.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Economics, Specialty Business Administration. Advanced studies in Business Management would be an advantage (MBA).
Experience:1-5 years of experience in telecommunications industry or related areas.
Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing of native language and English language, other languages will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of basic computer programs and internet application, Excellent knowledge of MS Office Package (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, etc).
  • Ability to work in a team as well as ability to work as part of the external groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize/communicate conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate business and customer needs proactively and accurately appropriately.
  • Ability to prepare analytical and organizational reports and numerical analysis.
  • Knowledge about Mobiles Technology and the Roaming Procedures.
