SGS Automotive Albania, the company that offers the obligatory vehicle control in Albania, is looking to hire a person as an IT officer, with very good knowledge as below:

5 Primary Responsibilities

- Develop database utilities and automated reporting
- Design and document database architecture. Data Modeling.
- Knowledge in Oracle 11gR2, SQL Server 2005, and SQL Server 2008.
- Experience with tools such as PL/SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Build database scheme, tables, procedures and permissions
- Set up data sharing and disk partitioning
- Analyze and sustain capacity and performance requirements
- Analyze, consolidate and tune database for optimal efficiency
- Oversee backup, replication and failover
- Restore and recover corrupted databases
- Install and test upgrades and patches
- Implement security and encryption
- Evaluate and recommend new database technologies
- Monitoring performance and managing parameters to provide fast query responses to front-end users;
- Further refining the physical design to meet system storage requirements;
- Installing and testing new versions of the database management system (DBMS);
- Controlling access permissions and privileges;
- Developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans;
- Ensuring that storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures are functioning correctly;
- Communicating regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security;
