BUSINESS CONTINUITY COORDINATOR



Main job accountabilities:
  • Drive the whole cycle of BCM development in compliance with Group requirements and Governance by embedding proactively VF AL specific needs.
  • Initiate and update the Risk assessment and BIA (Business Impact Analysis).
  • Analyze, update and review the business processes.
  • Define the BCM strategy based on BIA and business process.
  • Monitor the implementation of BCP and provide input for most cost-efficient scenarios.
  • Monitor the BCP testing and ensure the proper remedy actions are included in BCP plans.
  • Ensure all stakeholders have agreement to their roles and contribution in all phases of BCP cycle.
  • Update internal stakeholders with Group recommendations and Group BCP work-stream activities.
  • Represent VF-AL in VF Group and all BCP/BCM work-streams
  • Act as a single point of contact with internal and external auditors as requested and follow-up Non-Conformity remedy actions recommendations.
  • Providing 7x24hrs on-call support for any emergency which may require activation of all or part of the Business Continuity Plans. In the event that activation is required, serving as liaison between the Crisis Management Team and the Business Continuity Teams (the teams recovering operations at the alternate facilities and the teams restoring operations at the home facility).
  • Take cross-functional stakeholders’ inputs and ensure all views are reflected to build and update the BCP according to VF-AL local need.
  • Challenge consistency and quality of stakeholder contributions to achieve the best possible result.
  • Ensure full co-ordination with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively address and report BCP/BCM breaches related to processes, systems, Single Point of Expertise (SPOE)
  • Align BCP/BCM revision cycle with the budget cycle, so the recommended solutions are reflected in the investment plans.
  • Ensure the tools and capabilities to deliver BCP are in place
  • Continuously refine process and capabilities.
  • Develop relationships with head of relevant business functional units and key stakeholders to communicate their responsibilities and engagement role in BCP/BCM.
  • Ensure the message communicated to the relevant stakeholders and the wider organisation is consistent and aligned with VF-AL strategy and VF-Group standard
  • Prepare and deliver layered training to all parties involved in the BCP/BCM cycle in order for them to fulfill their assigned responsibilities.
  • Ensuring that all employees are familiar with the relevant provisions of the BCP.
  • Embed the culture of BCM
Profile Requirements:
  • University degree in Business Management, Telecommunications or related fields.
  • 2-3 years expertise in any of the following fields: telecom planning activities, project & management, auditing or risk management.
  • Good knowledge of business operations and technologies in mobile operators
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills,
  • Strong verbal / written communication skills. Ability to interface and influence a distributed team and interact in an international environment
  • Strong administrative skills, in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target deadlines,
  • Travel and off-hour on-call support are required.
