Key responsibilities will include:
- Supervise that contracts committing the company are in accordance with policy and procedures.
- To supervise the accounts, records and transactions, aided by ongoing efforts to streamline internal control procedures.
- To ensure that a complete and comprehensive archive and reporting system is implemented and maintained for all transactions.
- To administer and control cash management operations.
- To report on the financial statements and reports.
- To ensure the compilation of all budgets and forecasts covering all activities for approval by General Manager and to maintain all budget control procedures.
- To review and ensure proper procedures and controls of purchasing, receiving, storing and requisitioning functions.
- To liaise with both internal and external auditors in compliance with the Company’s requirements.
- To maximize productivity and morale by setting goals, providing clear guidelines and by developing team spirit, in co-operation with the General Manager.
- To have a complete understanding of the Company’s policy relating to fire, safety and health
The applicant must at a minimum meet the following criteria
- University Degree in Finance Accounting and Master Degree.
- 5+ year’s prior experience in Finance department
- Experience in development of finance plans
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- High levels of responsibility and communication
- Excellent skills in both spoken and written English as well as PC Applications
