Position Description

Position: Process Engineer

Department: Customer Service

Reports to: Process Leader


Primary Responsibility:
To drive the identification, definition, implementation and optimization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and relevant supporting tools in CS.


Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
§ In collaboration with CS team to define, implement, control, maintain and optimize identified SOPs.
§ In collaboration with CS team to define, implement, control, maintain and optimize quality control where needed based on Statistical Process Control (SPC).
§ Update current processes and documentations to depict improvements and suitable to the current operations.
§ Maintain current documentations available in operations e.g. standard operating procedures, manuals etc.
§ Ability to be very thorough and detailed in reporting and documentation of deliverables.
§ Derive and develop a systematic process, checklist, manuals etc.
§ Manage and deliver the quality initiative as desired by the organization.
§ Implement any initiatives with regards of processes across CS globally.
§ Assist and support Customer Support Manager and CS engineers in terms of process analysis and documentation.
§ Ensure that processes derive are practiced across CS compliance to operations’ requirements.
§ Continuously drive and promote quality across teams
§ Motivate CS team in order to strengthen the team’s spirit aligning to the business growth strategy.

Experience & Skills Required:
§ Proficient in English and local language - spoken and written (mandatory).
§ Knowledge of ISO standards, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and project management methodology is an added advantage.
§ Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
§ Has QA training is an asset.
§ Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
§ SPC experience
§ Possess strong investigative and problem solving skills
§ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
§ Highly self-motivated, possess strong initiatives with minimum supervision
§ Able to work independently with team objective in mind




Personal Profile:
§ Bachelor degree and substantial exposure to information technology and information systems for at least 3 years.
§ Preferably with prior technical experience of at least 2 years experience in system development.
§ Be able to adapt to a changing environment.
§ Must be a fast learner – an enthusiastic self-starter, and show initiative.
§ Demonstrate ability to effectively interact with client organizations at multiple levels.
§ Technically comfortable with the software technologies.
§ Customer oriented and able to work under pressure and flexible.
§ Capable of working under tight time pressure and directly with customers.
