[FONT=&quot]This international market is seeking a profit oriented General Sales Manager. Due to the company’s success and drive to continue to grow it is adding this position to its organization. The company sells through distributors and relies on the quality of its products and its superb service to maintain its dominating position in the industry of food. The position reports to the division President who is admired both within and outside the company for his skill and industry knowledge. This position provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to demonstrate his/her ability to lead a strong sales team to even greater success while driving profitability. Seasoned leaders with the ability to demonstrate past success will be attracted to this position.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Responsibilities:[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]· Direct the sales organization to drive sales through a large network of clients[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Coordinate with members of operations and finance to increase profitability[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Maximize the complex relationship between sales, production volume and market share[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Responsible for pricing strategy to maximize the relationship between volume and profitability[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Forecast revenue and profitability by sales reports.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Recommend and implement capital expenditure projects to increase customer service[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Requirements:[/FONT]


[FONT=&quot]· Experience selling to and through distributors at least 5 years[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Strong business to business experience[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Experience managing the sales force [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Experience managing a profit and loss responsibility[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Demonstrated ability to lead a sales force[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Demonstrated success working with other company departments to maximize profitability[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Experience competing with many aggressive competitors[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Knowledge of profit and loss statements and the ability to prepare and analyze pricing models[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]· Bachelor’s degree obligatory and a master degree would be an advantage [/FONT]
