SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER VACANCY

Job Overview and responsibilities
Tasks related to job position include:

• Environmental and Social Impact Assessment;
• Environmental and Social Management Plan;
• Environmental studies;
• Stakeholder Management Plan;
• Consultancy services;
• Supervision services;
• Contractor management;
• Feasibility studies;
• Gap analysis;
• Due diligence;
• Strategic Environmental Assessment

Work product generated must be accurate and timely as required by offering the highest quality to all the clients. Candidate must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities with little supervision and be able to interact with state, and local governments as needed.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering is required;
• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering is required;
• 7-10 years of experience;
• Industry experience preferred;
• Knowledge of ISO 14001;
• Knowledge of ISO 9001;
• Knowledge of Albanian Environmental Legislation;
• Knowledge of International Environmental Legislation;
• Experience with permitting;
• Experience with Environmental Impact Assessment;

Skills

• Have above average communication skills to communicate effectively with international/national clients and regulatory authorities;
• Be able to work with limited direct supervision, recognize expectations needed and have the initiative to do it;
• Have the ability to work well with others and be team oriented;
• Have the ability to analyze information, both written and verbal;
• Have the ability to prioritize and organize required job activities.
