Our company in growth is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Import Manager to join us.

Summary of the position: The Import Manager responsibilities include organizing import operations and ensuring that they are carried out effectively and efficiently. He/she executes the roles and duties of a negotiator for the company and for the associates who import from different geographical destinations. He/she makes sure that all products have been delivered properly and on time.

Responsibilities:
  • Investigating the specialized and technical needs in the management and administration of products that are sent for delivery for the organization;
  • Negotiating documented agreements for the delivery and management of products;
  • Strategizing, planning and enforcing the import activities as per the providers and requirements of the company;
  • Supervising the inside transfer of products and making sure that this is done in agreement with the rules, regulations and policies of the governing system authorities;
  • Making sure that the products arrive within the given time;
  • Creating, assessing and regenerating documented agreements according to the needs;
  • Observing and formulating the records of the activities related to imports;
  • Updating himself/herself about the various rules, policies and programs of customs alongside upholding compliance with sectional modulations of the organization;
  • Completing all other operational undertakings and workings related to the imports of the organization and ensuring their compliance with the general policies of the same.

Requirements:
  • MS/BS degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent is preferred;
  • Experience leading Global Import classification operations ;
  • Strong analytical skills, decision making, and project management skills ;
  • Good interaction and organization skills;
  • Ability to execute his/her roles and duties in a multicultural work environment;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian language, both written and spoken;
