TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is seeking to welcome a proactive candidate who enjoys dealing with customers to join Software Developer team at Financial Control Department in the following position:

Overall Job Definition

Senior Specialist will be responsible for the preparation of periodic reports as per the unified reporting system in compliance with the regulations approved by the Bank of Albania.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Prepare the daily, weekly, monthly reports to be sent to Bank of Albania, Balfin Group, Bank’s Management;
  • Report in a qualitative way the monthly financial statements of the Bank. This reporting should comply with the requirements of the Upper Management regarding the content and quality;
  • Prepare the monthly report according to Unified Reporting System for Bank of Albania and report/monitor compliance with the respective regulations approved by Bank of Albania regarding Unified Reporting System;
  • Prepare the financial statements in accordance with the "Methodology of reporting and content of the financial reports" ("Financial Reporting Methodology" or "MRF"), approved by the Supervisory Board of the Bank of Albania;
  • Prepare the financial statements in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
  • Develop well documented procedures that describe the work flow of the reporting process;
  • Assist in the implementation of the new banking applications, tools, systems;
  • Identify the possibility for the reporting process improvements and for system automation and actively participate in these processes;
  • Participate in the process of periodical and annual budget planning;
  • Offering assistance in case of internal or external audits for presenting the required materials and respective interpretation.

Competencies/ Skills:


  • More than 4 years in Financial Control/Reporting, preferably in the banking system;
  • University degree in Finance or related field. Master is considered a plus;
  • Knowledge of the internal banking regulation and the regulation of the Bank of Albania;
  • Very good knowledge of IFRS;
  • Good Knowledge of English Language;
  • Good knowledge of computer programs;
  • Team work & collaboration;
  • Project management;
  • Problem Solving;
  • Source Management;
  • Initiative;
  • Organizational Skills.
