Data Warehouse Administrator - IT Projects & Development Department


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Provides architectural guidelines to build and maintain scalable multi-gigabyte database environments.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the ETL and BI environment, implement monitoring, quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Configures, maintains and administers database replications using Change Data Captures tools.
  • Create and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategy.
  • Performance tuning.
  • Storage and capacity planning.
  • Database security planning and implementation.

JOB PROFILE


  • To have graduated from a university in a relevant field.
  • To have at least 3 years of experience in IT sector.
  • To have knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and techniques as applied in Data Warehouse applications.
  • To have strong understanding of database management systems.
  • To have experience and familiarity in OLAP tools and design, ETL tools and design (ODI 11 or ODI 12c), BI tools and design, multi-dimensional database design, data mining, data mapping, and integration.
  • To be Quick learner with interest and ability to master new technologies and able to handle tasks effectively.
  • To have experience with different backup/restore and disaster recovery solutions.
  • To be practical and careful.
  • To be able to work overtime as may be required by the job.
  • To have adequate command of English.
