Our company is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Procurement Specialist to join us.

Summary of the position: A Procurement Specialist will work closely with the company’s individual stores to determine their product needs and ensure that the right products are delivered on time. He / She also keeps a detailed inventory to track product performance and needs. based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and their own industry insight.

Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc. ;
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding updates and details of goods ;
  • Create purchase orders and tally these with supply requests and orders ;
  • Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of goods delivered ;
  • Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive ;
  • Attend meetings with the commercial and marketing department to ensure any contractual obligations are favorable to the company ;
  • Work closely with commercial and marketing department to understand details of procurement requirements ;

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field preferred ;
  • Proven experience working as a procurement specialist in the same area required ;
  • Strong knowledge of the industry and market conditions ;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills ;
  • Impeccable negotiation and problem-solving skills ;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building ;
  • Able to travel to meet suppliers as necessary ;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian language, both written and spoken
