Our firm is seeking a rounded candidate for one of the biggest companies operating in Albania in the position of :

Business Development Manager
The Manager Business Development will be responsible for the development and implementation of external growth and acquisition strategy and identification, evaluation and execution of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances. This position will manage the day-to-day activities of the Business Development function. Fulfills selected requirements the Quality System Standards and regulations as described within the Quality System Manual, especially “Management Responsibility”.
1. Through understanding the strengths and weaknesses, develops external growth and acquisition strategies. Assists in defining objectives and plans to achieve growth and financial profitability through retail and wholesale, disposals, mergers, joint ventures, strategic alliances and licensing agreements.
2. Through analyst and operating unit management and staffs, develops acquisition policies, procedures, and processes including financial analysis models, making bids and offers, and securing approvals.
3. Performs search and evaluation of appropriate businesses or technologies. Coordinates with SVP Business Development to identify, evaluate, structure, negotiate, close and integrate transactions.
4. Provides leadership of due diligence teams and manages the preliminary integration process. Develops and disseminates information on a continuous basis to all appropriate parties concerning the progress and achievement of project goals and objectives.
5. Prepare and manages departmental budgets and provides supervision and direction to analyst.
6. Manages on-going licensing agreements, acquisitions and/or alliances as a representative to gain the most value from the relationship.
Required Skills
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Marketing or Science. MBA with concentration in finance, strategy or marketing desirable.
Three or more years post-MBA in Fiance, Business Development, Strategy or Marketing function within an intensive business.
M&A, Licensing, or Consulting experience required.
Previous transaction experience required.
Exposure to or experience with strategy development.
Proven track record of deal development.
Resourceful, strategic and possess excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
Excellent negotiation skills along with a willingness to work and collaborate with others while maintaining a strategic focus.
A hands-on management style, adaptable to a high growth, changing environment.
Comfortable operating in a demanding, fast paced environment and capable of reacting swiftly to changing business demands
Driven to deliver quality results on time and in a highly ethical and professional manner.
Self reliant and have excellent initiative as well as possess solid business and marketing judgment.
