• Mobile Automation Engineer

Job Description:
As a Mobile Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in contributing to, as well as driving, high-quality releases and value-delivery to our customers.

  • Build Mobile App test automation for both IOS/Android using Appium.
  • Experience in testing Hybrid/Native IOS/Android Mobile Applications.
  • Build and add to Automation Regression Tests.
  • Experience in testing on virtual emulators using device farms.
  • Drive improvements and provide recommendations by using or creating tools and contributing to the automation framework already in place.
  • Create and manage automated test script creation, test execution, and reporting data
  • Independently identify and assess risks and develop mitigation steps and processes to be put in place for projects, while collaborating on technical designs, management of dependencies, and efficacy of valid test data to ensure successful and high-quality deliverables.
Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Mobile Application, or Web-based automation.
  • 2+ years relevant experience (advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years hands on experience in test automation of IOS and Android hybrid/native mobile applications like Appium, Selenium, etc. with experience building a test automation suite from the ground up.
  • Hands on experience with testing, analyzing and troubleshooting communication between mobile apps and API.
  • Configure CI/CD tool to run regression Appium automated tests.
  • Agile methodology experience (Scrum, Kanban…)
  • Experience in bug tracking tools (Jira, Integrity, etc.) and Collaboration tools (Confluence, Slack, etc.)
  • Experience working with teams using continuous integration, continuous deployment, with one to two week iterations a plus, and agile software development tools (GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Strong ownership, pride of work, and ability to take things across the finish line.
  • Good communication skills and team collaboration
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
