Regulation Specialist / Senior Specialist

Purpose of position
Follow up of all issues and the relationships with the regulatory authority (AKEP), Competition Authority and respective Ministry of the area (Ministry of Innovation and Technology of Information and Communication)
Duties

  • Update, evaluation and preparation of opinions and reports related to the Laws, government legal acts, and all acts issued by AKEP and Competition Authority ensuring so getting the appropriate information for the companies for their content and supporting the companies for its positioning related to the above;
  • Study and follow up of the international developments and innovations of the area and in the regulatory framework;
  • Follow up the implementation of every regulatory obligation imposed on the companies
  • Take appropriate legal initiatives to deal with the regulatory obligations;
  • Ensure compliance with the legal and regulatory obligations related to interconnection services and relations to regulated Albtelecom services ;
Skills

  • Very good knowledge in laws and legal sub-acts in the area of electronic communication services.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages;
  • Able to work on own initiative and as a part of team;
  • Problem Solving capability
  • Willing to work under pressure

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience in telecommunications industry;

Education

  • University Degree in Law;
