We are International Showtimes, a global entertainment data aggregator based in Berlin. We operate in 47+ markets and serve clients across the globe. Our AI-based "automated aggregation algorithm" connects to 25k+ websites and monitors the data 24 x 7. The International showtimes team consists of 15+ smart, motivated and friendly people. We work in a remote structure with offices in Berlin and Tirana and we are looking for you to support us with our next phase of growth in 2021.
Your tasks
As a back-end developer at International Showtimes, you support us to develop projects that enable us to aggregate, enrich, and to provide rich data to our international customer base.

Your tasks
As a back-end developer at International Showtimes, you support us to develop projects that enable us to aggregate, enrich, and to provide rich data to our international customer base.
- Developing projects independently or in a team
- Working on MVPs and proof of concepts to test exciting ideas
- Maintaining the system landscape and implementing improvements
- You have experience in computer science and/or you have completed your studies in computer science or in a related field
- You are a passionate developer and you want to learn more about data aggregation in an international context
- You have at least two years of backend experience in Node.js, JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- You have experience in test-driven development and in working with git
- Ideally, you can develop in Ruby and you worked already with Redis, MongoDB, Kubernetes and Docker (not mandatory)
- You are able to manage your work like proper project time estimations, reviews, project documentation, etc.
- Ideally, you worked with tools like Jira, Slack and GSuit (not mandatory)
- You have an outstanding work ethic and intrinsically motivated to succeed
- You are a fast learner and like to solve problems with your unique approach
- You have good (verbal & written) communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- You are fluent in Business English
- You are professional and reliable
- You are friendly and open-minded
