SR.SOFTWARE DEVELOPER


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writes, edits,and debugs new computer programs for assigned projects, including necessary recordsand desired output;
• Review requirementsspecifications and technical design documents to provide timely and appropriatefeedback and suggestions;
• Designand develop programming systems making specific determinations about systemperformance;
• Respondingpromptly and professionally to bug reports;
• Review andrepair legacy code;
• Expectedto conduct system analysis and development, with limited support from professionalstaff, to keep our systems current with changing technologies;
• Analyze,design, coordinate and supervise the development of software systems to form a basisfor the solution of information processing problems;
• Responsiblefor analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshootingof problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming;
• Responsiblefor developing new programs and proofing the program to develop needed changesto assure production of a quality product;
• Responsiblefor development of new programs, analyzes current programs and processes, and makingrecommendations which yield a more cost-effective product.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years’experience in Software and/or Platform development;
• Extensiveexperience with Node JS;
• Experienceas a software engineer; demonstrated success developing a variety of software systemswhile taking on increasing responsibility for analysis, design, implementation anddeployment tasks;
• Experiencedeveloping data-driven applications utilizing significant relational database enginesas part of the overall application architecture (experience with any or all of thefollowing are highly desirable: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server);
• Experiencebuilding web-based software systems, utilizing N-tier architectures, dynamic content,highly-scalable approaches, and complex security models/implementations;
• Experiencewith Agile software development is a plus.
